Welcome to St Thomas of Canterbury Catholic School
As a Catholic community, gospel values underpin our relationships with each other and the way that we develop our social attitude and conscience. Our Mission is not simply a statement. We live it throughout the day within the school through our behaviours and attitudes.
Our Vision is experienced through three aspects:
Being rich learners Vibrant curriculum Members of a world community
Our school is a community of learners. We welcome all children and families into this community with open arms. The school is one form entry and develops strong links with families enabling children to be supported by school, home and parish.
Our learning is delivered by committed learning teams through challenging and engaging themes. These themes develop the children's learning behaviours so that these skills can be applied in different situations.
The curriculum is underpinned by the the RICH learning behaviours:
R - resilient
I - independent
C - creative
H - helpful
Families are welcome to visit the school and should speak to Mrs Chadwick on 01983 522747.
Kind regards
Mrs M Sanderson
